Hello, my name is Mrs.Susan Carlson. I will be your kindergarten teacher and I am very excited about the new school year! My Life I was born in Minneapolis and lived there for 8 years until I moved to Elkton. I graduated from Elkton High School and then spent the next three years at Southwest State in Marshall, MN. From there, I moved to Mankato to finish my education at Mankato State. I received my degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 1991. I spent the next year in Springfield, MN spending time with my children and substitute teaching. I then moved to Tyler, MN where I created, directed and taught at a Lutheran preschool called "The Treasure Box." I moved to Brookings in 1999 and have been subbing and teaching since. I truly love being a "Bobcat" and living in Brookings. I have 6 people in my family. I have a husband and four children. Two of my children are married. I am a grandma too. I am a pet lover too. We really enjoy sports and spending time together! My Favorites
